I don't know if you've ever heard, but having a baby is
CRAZY!
Crazy awesome, crazy hard, crazy good, crazy crazy! Our lives have pretty much done a 180, but we seriously couldn't be happier. We wouldn't change a thing. Our priorities have totally shifted, and we spend our time doing different things than we ever did before. For example: Christopher quit VanLadyLove. Sad, I know. But when it came right down to it, he hated leaving for band practice when that was time he could spend with me and the baby. Who wants to leave their baby when they don't HAVE to. Not Chris, that's who. Sometimes we miss it like crazy, but most of the time it's just nice to have him home way more often. He still plays with a group called Strange Family. The artistic outlet is super awesome, so we're glad he still has that! He also needed more time to work. Babies are expensive! He got a killer job at CHG Healthcare. They are such an awesome company. We are crazy lucky to be there! He misses seeing Elsie all day. Working from home had it's perks, but now we really savor the time when he's home. Me, well... I take care of baby all day. Every day. And I very literally can't think of anything I would rather be doing. It is by far the best job I have every had. For reals!
